* The Italian Opera Prize, for exceptional cases, which the commission emphasizes at its own undisputable judgement, will become the “Special Italian Opera-Renata Tebaldi Prize” worth 5.000 €
NOTE:
The semi-finalists who do not go through to the final will receive an expenses refund of
€ 500.
The finalists, not including the winners of the above prizes, will receive an expense refund of € 750.
The participants in the Winners’ Concert, (26 and 27 September 2009) who do not win a prize, will receive an expense refund of € 1,000
The participants in Extra Time Barocco Prize and Lieder & Songs Prize, coming directly from the semi-final and who do not receive a prize, will only receive an expense refund as
semi-finalists (€ 500).
The winners will also receive prizes in the form of contracts for concerts with orchestra or piano, auditions and mention at major national and international opera houses.
In case of a split decision, the Tebaldi Foundation, through the Artistic Direction, as part of the established awards, will decide, according to its own indisputable judgement, whether or not to present the prize as a whole or in part.
