1. The Renata Tebaldi Foundation announces the 4th International Voice Competition "Renata Tebaldi" – 2011 (Republic of San Marino). Which is open to candidates of all nationalities born between September 20th 1976 and September 20th 1993, except for the winners of the previous editions of this Competition (first, second and third prize).
2. The deadline for the applications is July 15th 2011. The candidates must submit a compulsory pre-registration on-line, by the deadline date, on the web site
The pre-registration must include:
- A scanned document certifying identity and nationality.
- Two recent high resolution digital photographs – 300 dpi (about 15 cm x 20 cm).
- A short CV (in Italian or in English) including details of education, any awards obtained in previous competitions and any professional activities carried out.
- Information about the intention to participation in the Chamber Music/Oratorio section.
- The recital programme (see point 4).
Afterwards, within August 1st 2011, the candidate must send by post or through a forwarding agent to the Organisation Office of the Renata Tebaldi Voice Competition 2011( VIP Incentive House - Via Ovella, 27 - Località Valdragone - 47893 Borgo Maggiore - Republic of San Marino), the following:
- paper copies of the above mentioned documents (a,b,c,d,e)
- receipt of the payment of Euro 120,00 - the Competition application fee; the transaction expenses are to be paid by the candidate.
3. The payment of the application fee, that will ratify the pre-registration on-line, can be made by:

After the pre-registration, the candidate will receive by e-mail a safe and personal link to have the access at the payment area. The cost for the transaction is Euro 3,00 to be paid by the candidate.

The candidates will receive by e-mail the confirmation of enrolment in the Competition by August 31
st 2011.
4. All candidates must present 6 opera arias (3 of them in Italian) to be sung in the original language and key, and at least 2 Chamber Music or Oratorio compositions. Those who compete for the Chamber Music/Oratorio prize, will have to add a minimum of other 4 Chamber compositions to their recital programme. Transpositions are permitted only for the Chamber compositions. The candidates must bring with them all the scores of the works included in their programme.
5. The Renata Tebaldi Foundation will provide all candidates with official accompanying pianists. However, candidates may, if they so wish, have their own pianists for whom they must bear all travel and accommodation expenses.
6. Candidates shall relinquish all recording, broadcasting and distribution rights to the Renata Tebaldi Foundation.
7. Throughout the entire period of the Competition, candidates must be available for all Competition events.
